About Laser Hair Removal
At Mimi Laser Clinic, we use the best lasers in the industry from Candela. The technology is safe to use on any body or face area and we can target different skin types safely whilst delivering the greatest results. Our treatments incorporate an epidermal cooling system that cools the skin during treatments helping to calm and protect the skin.
For your first course of treatment in any area we recommend around 8-12 treatments although this can vary slightly for different clients. These are spaced out every 4-6 weeks depending on the area. Everyone is different and so we go through things with you in the free consultation.
Benefits of Laser Hair Removal
Permanent hair reduction technology
Our medical grade lasers provide significant permanent hair reduction of up to 90% in the treatment area. Any hair that does grow back is much finer, softer and frequency of growth is reduced. All of this means smoother skin for longer!
Safe and effective technology
Our Therapists have advanced Laser Training and decades of combined experience.
The Candela GentleMax Pro system is safe on all skin types using the Candela GentleMax Alexandrite for lighter skin types with dark hair and the Candela GentleMax Yag for darker skin types. This is a Gold Standard system used in medical settings throughout the world.
Not having to shave or wax as much means much less disruption to the skin’s surface, minimising the risk of skin becoming damaged through these alternative methods of hair removal. As there are less hairs under the surface of the skin, skin also appears smoother and more even in tone.
Reduce ingrown hairs
Laser hair removal targets melanin in the hair follicle at the root and leaves the surrounding skin unharmed. The hair’s ability to grow is prevented or inhibited. Not needing to shave or wax as frequently means minimal rashes, stubble, shadows and fewer ingrown hairs.
Affordable and convenient
Laser hair removal is cost effective and a sound investment compared with the ongoing cost of regular waxing or razors. It also minimises the amount of time spent on hair removal in the long term compared with either waiting for regrowth then waxing or time spent shaving.
